DWP Harvesting is a timber marketing cooperative with more than 40 estates and farms in Membership across the North and North East of Scotland, harvesting up to 40,000T per annum.
With coverage from Perthshire, Morayshire, Aberdeenshire DWP Harvesting is a leading collaborative within the industry. With over 30 years of activity the Society has developed an expectation of the highest standard of environmental and health and safety compliance and boasts some of the strongest timber market relations to ensure its Members obtain the greatest value of return.

Delivering Control to Woodland Owners
Our managers will provide you with complete visibility of the costs and incomes. We can organise felling permission and obtain an optional fixed-price quotation for replanting. Timber prices have soared in the last few years with the importance of sustainable forestry for construction and biofuel production a key topic of government. The returns are now encouraging woodland owners to thin and harvest areas which were previously considered unviable on account of higher working costs or replanting costs.
